Krol'dok Stronghold is a dungeon for levels 40-45. Community Manager Kaivax posted the correction after some BlizzCon material listed the new dungeon with the wrong level range. He did not say which range had been shown, only that it was incorrect in "various places".
The post is more useful than a simple erratum, because it also gives the level brackets for all nine new dungeons in one place:
We’ve spotted one item from BlizzCon that we want to clarify. In various places, the new Krol’dok Stronghold dungeon is listed alongside an incorrect level range.
In WoW: Forever, Krol’dok Stronghold will be for levels 40-45.
Here’s the full list of nine new dungeons coming in WoW: Forever.

The nine new dungeons by level
- The Hall of Thanes: levels 13-18 (The Hall of Thanes)
- Ruins of Lordaeron: levels 15-20 (Ruins of Lordaeron)
- Excavation Site: Wetlands: levels 24-29 (Excavation Site: Wetlands)
- City of Dalaran: levels 28-33 (City of Dalaran)
- The Drowned City: levels 35-40
- Krol'dok Stronghold: levels 40-45
- Alcaz Prison: levels 48-53
- Blackmaw Hold: levels 55-60
- Shaper's Terrace: levels 58-60
The first four already have pages on Phylactery, built from the beta files. We don't have pages yet for The Drowned City, Krol'dok Stronghold, Alcaz Prison, Blackmaw Hold or Shaper's Terrace, so for now their names and level ranges are all we can confirm.
How the new dungeons fill out the levelling curve
Set next to the classic lineup, the list shows a deliberate spread. Two new dungeons land in the teens, which gives early groups more options than Deadmines, Wailing Caverns and their neighbours. From there, the new dungeons arrive roughly every five levels up to 45, with Krol'dok Stronghold picking up directly where The Drowned City ends.
After that the gaps get wider. Nothing new covers 45 to 48 or 53 to 55. That still leaves plenty of familiar ground, since the original dungeons cover those levels. At the top, Blackmaw Hold and Shaper's Terrace both reach 60, and Shaper's Terrace starts at 58, so it is effectively an endgame five-player option.
For anyone who planned their 40s around the BlizzCon listing, the change matters: Krol'dok Stronghold sits right in the middle of the run from Scarlet Monastery towards Zul'Farrak and Uldaman, so expect it to be on the list for groups in their early 40s.
