Banner of the Fallen
Quest in Loch ModanWhat you need to do
Raise the standard of Ironforge, call out the trogg Headsplitter and kill it, then report to Captain Rugelfuss.
What you get
Mountaineer's Greataxe
Invader's MaceDescription
The fallen mountaineer bears a standard of Ironforge. Perhaps she was scouting, or making a doomed charge. Either way, the standard has been cast down and trampled. The mountaineer was hit on the head so hard that her helm was knocked off and she was killed outright by a trogg, likely with a spiked club.
The trogg that killed her is probably still nearby, and likely remembers the banner. Raising the banner of Ironforge once more may call it out.
You found Ylva's body? Ah, the poor woman. She said she was going to show the troggs that Ironforge would never fall to their kind. She went looking for a few mountaineers who never returned from a patrol through trogg country. She was always too independent-minded to be cautious. Now we know what happened.
I'll take the banner back and make sure it's cleaned up and displayed. You should take her weapon. May it serve you well against the troggs.
